Nigeria receives humanitarian support from Canada.

The government of Canada has announced a US$21 million-plus humanitarian fund to help provide food assistance and vital health care as well as safe water, sanitation, and protection services in conflict-affected North-East Nigeria. The relief package will be delivered by United Nations agencies, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, along with non-governmental organizations. Furthermore, it aims to help improve food security for 4.4 million people in the region during the lean season. The program will also encourage women and girls to take up leadership roles in humanitarian activities. The Canadian government will provide an additional US$4.3 million to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to assist communities in North-East Nigeria regain self-sufficiency and resilience. In the fiscal year 2019/2020, Canada contributed more than US$97 million in aid to Nigeria. Canada is a Shining World Leadership Award for Animal Protection recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Caring. Our appreciation, Canada and partners, for your generous support. May the vibrant and friendly people of North-East Nigeria soon know peace and comfort, in Divine beneficence.

Russian minister warns his nation will lose its permafrost.

The Russian Minister of Natural Resources, His Excellency Alexander Kozlov, recently cautioned that the Russian Arctic would have no permafrost within 20 to 30 years, and the region could become arable farmland. Russia has four million square kilometers of permafrost in its large Arctic zone, and it is the biggest reservoir of organic carbon in the world. It is estimated that in the Yakutia region alone, there are 500 gigatons of frozen organic matter such as roots, trees and more, which is greater than all of Earth’s currently growing biomass. If it melts, enormous amounts of greenhouse gases will be released into the atmosphere and exacerbate climate change. Russia is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, a Shining World Generosity Leadership Award and a Shining World Leadership Award for Wildlife-Protection. Thank you, Your Excellency Alexander Kozlov, for your timely warning on the state of the environment in your vast nation. In the blessings of Heaven, may the world’s citizens quickly adopt a vegan diet to ensure the ongoing survival of humanity and the planet.

Up next, pulp mill waste product found useful for road construction. Let’s pause to thank the tea farmers for growing beautiful tea plants throughout the year that produce calming and relaxing beverages for us. We’ll be right back, with more sharing news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: not used 2 a clear mind w/o fog!

Good day, elated viewers, I’m Remington the vegan Red Wolf. My body thanks me every day. Do you know why? Because I give it only plant-based fuel. I have a craft tip for you today on how to turn an old stuffed animal into a kid’s purse. Just cut open the back of the stuffed animal, preferably one that stands on four legs as this kind will work better than the ones that sit upright. Take out the stuffing to make it hollow, then smooth and shape the edges by folding them over and securing them with a needle and thread. Finally, make one long strap, or two short ones, from some ribbon or fabric and sew the ends to the back of the toy. Voila! You now have a cute and creative animal purse your child will love! Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for tuning in, and now for the weather around the globe.

Canadian university researchers find use for waste product from paper and pulp industry.

Dr. Chinchu Cherian and Dr. Sumi Siddiqua of the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus recently determined that a waste product from paper and pulp manufacturing, called wood-based pulp mill fly ash (PFA), can be used as a low carbon binder for road construction. Each year the industry in North America produces one million metric tons of the material, which is normally sent to landfills. However, since it has a highly absorbent nature, it makes an excellent additive to road building materials such as cement. The PFA is also very stable once bound to cement and leaches little or no residue. Congratulations on your very interesting findings on how another waste product can be put to good use, Dr. Chinchu Cherian and Dr. Sumi Siddiqua. In the grace of the Providence, may we quickly transition to circular economies as we cherish all that the Earth provides.

Study shows that millions of hectares of forests have regrown since 2000.

The Trillion Trees project is a collaborative endeavor between BirdLife International, the Wildlife Conservation Society and Shining World Compassion Award recipient the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to plant one trillion trees globally by 2050. A mapping study by the initiative has revealed that since the year 2000, almost 59 million hectares of forests around the world have regrown. The new woodlands could store 5.9 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide, and their area is about the same size as mainland France. They were found to have been restored via a range of ways, such as spontaneous natural regeneration and active restoration, which can involve the planting of trees, shrubs and more. However, Trillion Trees warns that other studies show that millions of more hectares of trees are lost each year than the amount regrown. Thank you, Trillion Trees project team, for your highly useful study. In the abundance of Heaven, may the number of woodlands regrowing soon exceed those being cleared.

Veterinary student looks after street animals in Delhi, India.

During Delhi’s COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 and 2021, veterinary student Vibha Tomar, founder of the animal welfare organization Oscar for Life Charitable Trust, realized that the street animals were stranded with no food source. During the second lockdown, she and volunteers brought food to more than 500 animals across the city every evening, including dogs, cats, birds, monkeys, cows, and buffaloes. Besides using eco-friendly leaf plates for the feeding, the 23-year-old also converts discarded car tires into beds for canines and felines in winter, places water bowls for them during the warm weather, and ties reflective collars on the dogs so they can be easily seen by motorists in the dark. Moreover, Ms. Tomar also rescues and treats injured animals as well as finds forever homes for them. You have a heart of gold, Vibha Tomar. May your example encourage many more acts of kindness towards our innocent animal co-inhabitants, in God’s radiant Light. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Happily present the Shining World Compassion Award to Vibha Tomar plus a humble contribution of US$10,000 to support this benevolent work, with all love and gratitude. May Heaven protect and bless you and all involved in caring for the vulnerable animals.”

Swedish startup creates free hypnotherapy course to help people quit meat.

The Raging Pig Company, a seller of vegan bacon seasoning, refers to meat-eating as a disease and states that even though people know consuming it is bad for themselves and the planet, they continue doing so because facts are “not necessarily enough for changing our behavior.” The Get Off Meat course consists of three 20 minute sessions that are guided by professional hypnotherapist Anna-Maj Velander, who uses techniques that help people recover from addiction and trauma. The sessions are available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. On its website, the company reports fantastic results from its test group and also advises, “But in the end, as with every change, it’s up to you.” Fantastic news, The Raging Pig Company and Anna-Maj Velander, on your amazing new program. In the mercy of the Divine, may countless people listen to your course and overcome their addiction to the harmful meat-eating habit.

Cypriot vets treat animals free of charge after wildfire.

The Pancyprian Veterinary Association has agreed to pay all costs of treatment of animals affected by a wildfire that swept across seven Cypriot mountain villages in early July 2021. It is described as the worst forest fire in the nation’s history, that sadly caused the loss of four human lives as well as those of many animals. The association prepared a list of all participating veterinary clinics that would treat injuries such as breathing disorders and burns. When the fire broke out, animal rights activists hurried to the area to save dogs, cats and horses, and then raised funds to care for them. Our gratitude, Cypriot vets and kind rescuers, for your loving actions to help our animal friends. In Celestial love, may the affected people and animals of Cyprus quickly recover and enjoy stable, peaceful lives.

Here is a quick massage for your belly, a joke entitled, “A Lawyer’s Speech.” But the instruction says you must laugh to feel the effect.

In the courtroom, the judge said:

“Could the claimant try to recognize if this is the person who stole your car?”

“Your Honor, after the speech of his lawyer, I am really not sure if I ever owned an automobile...”

And now we have a heartline from Zoey in the United States:

Dear Master, Thank You for showing us the harm of meat, dairy and intoxicants, as humans need to hear this very much. I have a sad personal experience I would like to share related to this: After being vegan for many years, during a low point in life, very regretfully, I ate meat again. Little did I know then about the consequences I would endure. Because of that choice, I was depressed for a very long time, which continued even after I became vegan again. My choice not only affected my own wellness but also the health of my child and animal companion. Because of the depression caused by poisonous meat substances, I lacked the desire to spend time with my dog and child. After my dog passed away, I realized that had I been healthy, I could have given him a better quality of life. I could have taken him on more walks, given him more grooming, more play, more tummy rubs, and more patience, all of which dogs and children deserve. Now with the truth being so clear, I regret eating meat so much because the ones I love had to bear the consequences as well. I wish the world could see that meat karma is immediate, and it affects how we interact with the people we love and how our actions affect the poor animals who are raised for meat. Some effects will remain decades later. Even though I am better now, I cannot turn back time to undo my mistakes back then.

Thank You, Master, for tirelessly emphasizing the harmful effects of meat-eating for many years. It is all true, and people have to be good to protect their loved ones. I hope people will soon wake up and be vegan before it is too late. Your disciple, Zoey from the USA

Amicable Zoey, Thank you for sharing your personal experience with us. We celebrate your determination and success in overcoming life’s temptations and that you have returned to the karma-less, animal-free lifestyle, which is proven scientifically to be better and healthier for us, aside from the karmic retribution that we’d accumulate from eating meat.

We are happy to share Master’s words to you: “Considerate Zoey, I am glad you have recognized the severely harmful effects of meat again, and chosen to return to the vegan path. Even though this physical world is tempting you in all directions, that you were strong enough to break through is fortunate. Heavens know and will forgive one’s sincere repentance. Meanwhile, inform others about the dangers of meat so they can see the truth themselves, and ask those in your circle to pray for World Vegan. May you and the hospitable Americans be protected under God’s Grace.”
