Korea’s Global Together supports Afghan pandemic relief.

The Korean non-governmental organization (NGO) Global Together recently delivered 3,000 face masks and 10,000 COVID-19 diagnostic kits to the Afghanistan Embassy in Seoul. MiCo BioMed, a medical diagnostics company with headquarters in Korea, provided the test kits and together with the facemasks from the NGO everything will be transported to Afghanistan by Afghanistan Airways. Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Korea, His Excellency Abdul Hakim Atarud, expressed his sincere thanks for the pandemic assistance and stated hopes for continued cooperation and friendship between the nations. The NGO also provided the embassies of Nepal and Uzbekistan in Korea with COVID relief packages. Kudos, Global Together and also MiCo BioMed, for your generosity. Your loving efforts support the health and well-being of our worldwide family and create long-standing, positive friendships, in Heaven’s love.

European Union (EU) urged to support plant-based products.

In a letter to the European Commission, over 60 leading scientists called on the EU to shift its ad campaign subsidies that promote animal products to plant-based foods to champion “public health, environmental protection and animal welfare.” The researchers state the reform is required to align EU-funded food ads to its Farm to Fork strategy and the Beating Cancer Plan, which aim to reduce red and processed meat consumption while encouraging more vegetables and fruit intake. Alarmingly, the scientists’ letter noted that 68% of EU agricultural land is used for animal production and feed, while almost 70% of EU greenhouse gas emissions come from animal livestock raising. The letter’s signatories included British primatologist Dame Dr. Jane Goodall, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. Our earnest gratitude, Dame Dr. Jane Goodall and all scientists involved, for highlighting and supporting this much needed and noble direction. For the well-being of all, may every country quickly transition to a vegan food system, in God’s mercy.

Up next, New York City, United States, pilot program gives direct cash payments to house homeless young adults. We’ll just pause to thank the fundraising coordinators that help non-profit organizations in raising funds through various activities. We’ll be right back, with more alleviating news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: Strengthen the nations.

Hi, sea-loving friends, how have you been? I’m Riley the vegan Ringtailed Cat. Want to look like a movie star? Adopt a vegan diet and you’ll look like a million bucks! Here is a tip to help keep your pet cool during the summer. Instinctively, many people think shaving their dog or cat in the summer would help them to not overheat. However, this is not correct. Their coat of hair is actually designed to protect them in the summer and keep them warm in the winter. You can trim your pet’s fur, but don’t ever shave it all off. Make sure you leave a minimum of two and a half centimeters of hair to shield the skin from sunburns. Also, be sure to keep up with your dog or cat’s regular grooming schedule all year round for their optimal health. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Thank you for your attention, and here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

New York City, United States, introduces direct cash payments to address young adult homelessness.

In a pilot program chaired by the First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray, New York will provide monthly cash payments to 30 to 40 young people from vulnerable social groups with the goal of helping them find stable housing. Homeless individuals aged 18-24 will receive US$1,250 a month for up to two years. This Trust Youth Initiative is financially supported by the city and various non-profits. It was developed by the University of Chicago’s public policy institute and is based on strong evidence that young adults experiencing adversity who receive direct cash transfers have the possibility of investing in their own success. The program will be evaluated after one year with the idea of expanding it. New York City is a recipient of a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award. Our appreciation, First Lady Chirlane McCray, New York City and those supporting the Trust Youth Initiative. May all young people flourish in an atmosphere of care and consideration, in Heaven’s shelter.

Netherlands plant begins to recycle polystyrene foam.

Dutch nonprofit PolyStyreneLoop Cooperative’s plant in Terneuzen has successfully implemented a recycling process for expanded polystyrene (EPS). EPS is often used to make insulation, and being mostly unrecyclable to date, has contributed to more landfill. With the opening of the new site, PolyStyreneLoop expects to recycle up to 3,300 metric tons per year — using renewable wind energy. Now focused on foam insulation from construction and building demolition waste, the plant will later recycle extruded polystyrene (XPS) that is used to make foam cups, plates and packaging. United Kingdom-based company Molygran has already been recycling the UK’s “undecorated, clean and dry” white EPS, which saved 37 metric tons of it from going to landfills between 2018 and 2019. That’s great news, PolyStyreneLoop Cooperative and Molygran! May we have an ever cleaner, more animal-friendly world, in the Providence’s eternal grace.

Johannesburg, South Africa fashion designer develops multi-purpose jacket for homeless.

Carlo Gibson, the creator of contemporary clothing brand Klipa Denim, has created a three-in-one warm and durable jacket to assist individuals experiencing homelessness. Designed in collaboration with honors fine arts students at the University of Johannesburg, the “homeless home” jacket can be converted into a sleeping bag or backpack. It is made of canvas fabric and comes with deep pockets to store extra clothing or newspapers, which can be used for added insulation during extremely cold weather. Mr. Gibson has donated 45 jackets to people in need and is using crowdfunding to produce another 100. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Gibson also designed facemasks and traveled across South Africa giving them out. Kudos, Carlo Gibson and all involved, for your thoughtful creations and caring spirit. May the Divine shower everyone in need with much love and comfort as we pray for a more promising future.

Coming up, famed Canadian rapper invests in United States-based vegan chicken startup. We’ll pause to do some meditation to relieve our minds of worldly preoccupations. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more encouraging news. Vegan leader: brave defender! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Motivating News for an Advancing World.

United States vegan chicken startup gets expansion funding from multi-Grammy-winning Canadian rapper.

Daring Foods, that makes a range of plant-based chicken products, recently received US$40 million in financial support to help the company develop further. Rapper Drake took part in the investment, which was organized through D1 Capital Partners. With the cash, Daring will triple its staff as well as increase foodservice and retail sales. Daring’s offerings, made from soy protein, vegetable oil, herbs and spices, include Original Breaded Pieces, Cajun Pieces, Lemon & Herb Pieces and more. Congratulations, Daring Foods, on your successful round of funding and thank you, Drake and D1 Capital Partners, for supporting the future of food. We pray that all vegan companies will flourish, thus allowing our chicken and other animal co-inhabitants to live peacefully, in the blessings of God.

Faithful dog runs after ambulance carrying caregiver inside.

When a woman fell ill in Büyükada Island, Turkey, her golden retriever companion’s plea to enter the ambulance taking her to the hospital was turned down due to hygienic safety and health policies. Unwilling to stay behind, the determined canine chased after the vehicle for several kilometers, all the way until they reached the hospital. There, the loyal dog continued to wait patiently outside the entrance while the woman received treatment inside. What a moving story showcasing the steadfast devotion and love of human’s best friend! We pray the woman is soon restored to good health and the two devoted companions spend many more years in each other’s delightful company, in Allah’s eternal love.

Bet you’ll feel better after a laugh! Here comes the joke of the day, entitled, “New Manager.”

“Hey, Jo! What are you up to? Wanna go out and grab some vegan pizza?”

“Sorry, Chris, but I’m really busy... I’m the new manager of my own department now, so it’s a double job.”

“Your department is just you alone, right?”

“Yes, Chris, but I’m not that easy to manage!”

And now we have a heartline from Omniriac in Peru:

Beloved Master, Today, December 24, 2020, while waiting for the Supreme Master TV live broadcast throughout the night, and early morning, I fell asleep for about 30 minutes, but I was conscious, my ears were distantly connected to the TV. Suddenly, a voice inside me began to speak to me, and my body felt it. I felt and saw that I was out of my body. I saw how the images expressed a beautiful energy in the form of rays coming out of the television. The voice was exactly my voice; it was like listening to myself. The voice said: “Long live Master’s work, Master’s work is true, the power of Supreme Master TV really benefits the world!” The feeling of that energy that came out of the television was incredible while that voice said that. I felt the energy fall on me, come inside me. Now, in the morning, I don’t feel tired or feeling like I didn’t get enough sleep. On the contrary, I feel very energetic, like I could do many useful things. It was the first time I let Supreme Master TV be on the whole night. I am thankful for this amazing experience. May Master’s health and work always be protected! With deep love, Omniriac from Peru

Blessed Omniriac, We are happy to share Master’s reply with you: “Mindful Omniriac, my thanks for your well-wishes. We also thank God for Hiers Blessings that are continuingly showering our world and through Supreme Master Television which showers all beings with immense Blessing and Grace. May you and mystical Peru be forever in Heavens’ loving care. Love, Love.”
