“Most people in the world, they measure your success or their success by how big their house is and how, how you say, splendent the decoration, or outside, inside there. I think it’s a big mistake, really big mistake. Because they don’t know what it’s like to live a simple life. Just a small room and everything is around you. You don’t really need that much. Of course, I do need some clothes to wear to go out, look like everybody else, just to blend in. Otherwise, really, you even, you don’t need many clothes, just two, three pairs of clothes to wash and change. And you just need the basics. And the smaller the house, the better. 4 by 4 like mine is best. Because you can find everything you want. Just one closet, those ready-made in the supermarket, you go and just take it home and put it there and hang your clothes. Done. And if you need more, there’s one for the drawers stuff. That’s it. And a coffee table and a sofa or small bed. What else you need? Couple of pans and pots, if you cook. If you don’t cook, then you don’t even need that. Raw. Raw food. Yes. And if you’re breatharian, then you don’t need anything. The kitchen place can… one more extra corner to meditate. Really, you feel very contented if you don’t have to take care too much of the house. And especially tax and mortgage and all that.”
“Here they’re normally forbidden to speak anyway, so they won’t disturb you. It’s not forbidden but advised to keep quiet so that they can conserve all the blessings that they have. And then go home, spend little at a time. Because when we talk to other people, and we look at other things, look at surroundings, we dissipate our energy as well. Even sometimes if we just think of someone in our home even, and that person may be thousand miles away, you could even get hurt by thinking of that person. It’s better just think of the Holy Names all the time, it’s protecting you. You have children and you have obligations. You cannot just always ignore them. Or you know somebody or some lover or something and you think of them sometimes, and immediately the karma is connected. So sometimes you think, ‘Okay, why did I have this accident? Why this thing happened to me, and that thing happened to me?’ It happened for some reason. Maybe you think too much of someone or some event in the past. Or maybe the karma from the past catches up with you. Nothing accidental in this world. Try to concentrate all the time on your wisdom eye and the Holy Names, especially here. So when you go home, you’re full, pocket full. And you can slowly spend it.”
