“As Emily grew bigger in her mother’s belly, so did her mother’s worries. She was anxious about money and whether she would be a good mom. Emily sensed her mother’s tears and heard her whispered fears. Desperate to reassure her mother, Emily began to sing, her tiny voice a gentle melody caressing her mother’s heart. She said, Please, Mommy… I promise to be a good baby. I won’t bring you any trouble. Just let me be born, and I’ll bring you joy and love. I want to see your face, to hold your hand, and to dance with you. Please, don’t be sad.”

“Four months before Emily was due to be born, the unthinkable happened. Driven by financial desperation, overwhelming fear, and the belief that they couldn’t care for the baby, Emily’s parents chose not to bring her into this world. This decision would change Emily’s life forever.”

“Luckily, Emily’s parents met a nurse at the hospital who informed them about a couple longing to have children of their own but couldn’t have a baby. This couple wished to give a baby a loving home, and they knew they would be good parents.”

There are lots of people out there who really, really want to be moms and dads! They would be so grateful to have a baby in their lives. And when we help connect those grown-ups with babies, it makes everyone happy! In Emily’s case, her birth parents loved her so much that they chose to give her up for adoption to a couple who longed to have a child, and wanted to be a mommy and daddy.

Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has also reminded us of the beautiful gift of adoption. “They have souls, man. They understand. And the thing people don’t understand is that you have to keep the children for your own countries and your own merit also, because it’s like saving a saint. Children, when they were young, when they were in the warm womb and outside until four, five or even up to eight years old, they are directly connected with Heaven. Directly connected with God. (So they’re purer.) Yeah, very pure and connected with this Divine energy. So the more children you have, the better for you. Imagine if you even save a lot, millions of them. How much merit you earn? (Yes.) You save like angels, you save saints, because at that time they’re very pure, and if you nourish them with vegan food also, then they continue to be like angels. (Wow!) Growing up like angels, and you have all the best citizens in the world. They can keep the connection with Heaven longer, and Heaven can continue to guard over them.”
