Madagascar receives aid from Switzerland after devastating storm in early February.

Cyclone Batsirai was the second tropical storm in two weeks to hit Madagascar with powerful winds and gusts of up to 200 kilometers per hour causing widespread damage. The torrential rain triggered flooding and landslides which swept away cars and houses, and destroyed infrastructure, affecting approximately 180,000 citizens and sadly taking at least 121 lives. Switzerland immediately made available over US$320,000 for emergency aid and deployed five disaster specialists from the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit to collaborate with the nongovernmental organization Medair. Assistance in the form of over two metric tons of emergency materials has been donated by the Swiss government. The consignment included equipment that can analyze and disinfect drinking water, a critical need to help prevent the outbreak of waterborne diseases in such situations. Thank you, Switzerland, for your expertise and aid. In Heaven’s grace, may the people of Madagascar be uplifted and soon recover.

Important report calls attention to wool’s environmental damage.

A new paper published by the Center for Biological Diversity, together with Collective Fashion Justice’s CIRCUMFAUNA initiative, uncovers how wool production drives biodiversity loss and has negative climate effects. Even though wool is often presented as natural and sustainable, the report reveals that wool taken from sheep-people is actually three times more harmful to the climate than acrylic and five times more harmful than conventionally-grown cotton. Compared to cotton, wool requires a massive 367-times more land to produce the same volume of usable end product. Furthermore, chemicals used to clean wool contribute to killing aquatic life and polluting waterways. In the wool industry, sheep-people are often not only used to obtain wool but are also mercilessly slaughtered for meat at as young as 6-months-old. Our appreciation, Center for Biological Diversity and the CIRCUMFAUNA initiative, for publishing this shocking report. May we all make food and clothing choices that protect our precious planet and each God-given life, in the mercy of the Divine. Vegan: a true civilization. Choose it, please.

Up next, first-ever nature reserve designated in Gaza. We are now going to thank the professional car movers who help us to safely transport our vehicles when relocating to a new, far-off location. We’ll return with more worthwhile news after this message here on Supreme Master Television.

Respectful viewers, I am Gabe, a vegan fellow from the Great Curassow kingdom. I think we should just join together and keep on planting the seeds of love and compassion as we go. As the foremost choice, let’s just all follow the radiant path of vegan living. I have a useful tip for you. There are a couple of reasons why you shouldn’t clean your bathroom mats in a front-loading washer. First, they can damage the drain motor since the rubber backing on the mats disintegrates during the wash cycle, and the tiny rubber pieces can obstruct the drain pump’s motor and line. The mats can potentially ruin the spin basket bearing, which is an expensive fix, because they are too heavy. The mats absorb a significant amount of water and end up weighing a lot more than the washer was made to handle while spinning. Save your time and money by hand washing your bathroom mats instead. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around the globe.

First nature reserve declared in Gaza.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and five local governments are supporting a US$66 million, 10-year effort to turn the Wadi Gaza wetland into an ecological oasis. The wetland is currently in a severely polluted state, due to previous releases of untreated sewage, and also the dumping of waste. Fortunately, however, a wastewater treatment plant was recently installed, which has improved the situation. The nature reserve project will begin with a clean-up of the area, and be followed by a vast tree-planting effort as well as infrastructure improvements such as enhanced road access. Way to go, Gaza governments and United Nations Development Programme, for your plan to restore the natural beauty of the Wadi Gaza wetlands. In the Blessings of Allah, may your project bring solace and serenity to many precious people from the human and animal kingdoms.

Medical advancements in Canada make transplantable organs universal for recipients of all blood types.

Researchers at the Ajmera Transplant Centre at the University Health Network in Toronto have discovered a method to make organs for transplant available to people of all blood types. Often, people have to wait a long time to find an organ from someone with a matching blood type, as non-compatible types will be rejected by the receiver. The study found that treating a lung with a certain group of enzymes allowed the organ to be accepted by a body with any type of blood. The same technique is expected to be able to work for all types of transplantable human organs such as hearts, livers and kidneys. Great job, scientists from the University Health Network, for your remarkable research that will help to save lives. In the care of the Providence, may our advances in technology be matched with an expansion of human compassion.

Tanzanian-born American woman helps improve lives of Maasai people in hometown.

Angel Mollel was raised in a family with 16 siblings in a northern Tanzanian Maasai village. At the age of 12, with her parents’ permission, she was adopted by Tony Matteroli, a volunteer at her school, who brought her to the United States in 2013. To address the cycle of indigence in her hometown, in 2018, Ms. Mollel founded the nonprofit 1Love to provide educational opportunities to the village’s children. Since its inception, 1Love has helped six underprivileged Maasai youngsters find sponsors for their school fees. Moreover, it has completed various community improvement projects, which include bringing clean water and electricity to the village as well as building brick houses and installing home solar power. Going forward, 22-year-old Ms. Mollel, currently a University of Colorado Boulder undergraduate student, plans to build a school for children in her village. You are a true inspiration, Angel Mollel. May the cherished Maasai people of Tanzania be blessed with happy lives, in Heaven’s upliftment. “Abstain rigorously from eating the flesh of cows and all beneficent animals, lest you be made to face a strict reckoning in this world and the next; for by eating the flesh of cows and other domestic animals, you involve your hand in sin, and (thereby) think, speak, and do what is sinful; for though you may eat but a mouthful, you involve your hand in sin, and though a camel be slain by (another) person in another place, it is as if you (who eat its flesh) had slain it with your own hand.” ~ Adurbad-i Mahraspand (vegetarian)

Coming up, UK school hosts nation’s first plant-based school kitchen. We’ll pause for a moment to thank God for the gift of intuition that helps us keep safe and make rightful decisions in our lives. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more praiseworthy news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Auspicious News for a Kinder World.

UK school delights students with plant-based meals.

Our Lady of Sion School in Sussex, United Kingdom, is a well-respected institution of learning dating back to 1862. Now, the co-ed school is making modern history by having what’s thought to be the nation’s “first plant-based school kitchen.” Delicious, purely-plant-based hot meals are offered, including dishes like Shepherd’s Pie with lentils, tofu tacos, and black beans and quinoa meatballs. The meals have elicited rave reviews from students and teachers alike. The school’s vegan kitchen is run by Gary and Anna Hardley, owners of a local vegan restaurant and directors of the enterprise Plant Based School Kitchens, which they founded to spread the many physical and psychological benefits of the compassionate vegan lifestyle. Bravo, illustrious Our Lady of Sion School and talented Plant Based School Kitchens. Your collaboration represents a shining example of sharing the loving vegan way of life, in Celestial delight.

German scientists discover biggest colony of fish-people nests in world.

Researchers from the Alfred Wegener Institute in Germany recently announced their 2021 finding in the Weddell Sea near Antarctica of the largest colony of fish-people nests ever discovered. It is estimated that over 100 billion eggs are present in approximately 60 million nests, across an area covering around 240 square kilometers. The nests were made by Jonah’s icefish-people, who are small and easily identified by their distinct ray-fins. They were seen by trailing a camera behind the team’s gigantic polar exploration ship, RV Polarstern. The scientists also left two cameras on the seafloor in an attempt to view the hatching of the eggs. Such fascinating news, Alfred Wegener Institute scientists, on your discovery of this fantastic fish-people nest colony. In the protection of the Divine, may we take all actions possible to ensure the protection of the precious marine ecosystems worldwide.

We can already feel some joyous vibrations in the air as the joke of the day rapidly approaches. Let’s check it out. It’s entitled “The Shortest Month.”

In math class, the teacher asked little Roland:

“Roland, please tell me which is the shortest month of the year?”

“May.”

“And why do you think it’s May?”

“Because it has only three letters.”

And now we have a heartline from Mary in the United Kingdom:

Supreme Master Ching Hai, You’re amazing because You save animal-people. Wishing You good health and lots of Love. I have drawn a picture of You and hope You like it. Mary (8-year-old) from the United Kingdom

Intelligent Mary, We, too, think Supreme Master Ching Hai is truly miraculous! Her life-saving work is boundless, and we thank you for writing and sending your lovely drawing.

Master joyfully replies to you: “Delightful Mary, you have drawn me so beautifully. I am flattered and thank you with much affection and a big hug. Yes, we must all save the amazing and innocent people of the animal kingdom. Like us, they live, breathe, and love. May God bless you and the good people of the United Kingdom with robust health too, and speed us to a vegan world. Amen.”

Go ahead n make war: so that people can see that u r a coward. Cuz if u have 2 go to war facing the enemies urself, u’ll not want 2 do it.
