There’s a statistic that if we killed people at the rate that we kill animals, the whole human race would be extinct in 10 days. Just thinking about that is insane. There’s 8 billion people on the planet, right? We would go extinct in 10 (days). That’s how much we kill animals and how many animals we eat mindlessly, without thinking about it, whatever that hamburger… you probably don’t even remember what you had for breakfast yesterday, but that was an animal’s life.
